FAQ
What is Ministry of Mothers ( AKA MOMS Group) ?
MOMS Group is a program for mothers. MOMS Group gives moms a time and place to be nurtured through teaching, friendships and fun!
What happens at a typical MOMS Group meeting?
A typical MOMS meeting includes a speaker, a time for small group discussion, and a selection of breakfast food. Topics include a range of issues relevant to motherhood, marriage, and life in general.
What about my kids?
During MOMS Group meetings, the children are cared for in their own Childcare program. A nursery is available for toddlers, and age-appropriate activities are provided in the classroom for children 1 year and walking through 5 year olds, typically older children are in school. Mothers are also welcome to keep their babies with them during MOMS Group meetings at their own discretion.
What does is cost to become a member?
The registration fee for our group is $35. This covers the cost of materials, Guest Speaker Fees and our Catered May Brunch. Partial scholarships are available if the cost is a hardship for your family.
How are the speakers chosen?
Our speakers are chosen for many reasons. We get suggestions from our yearly survey from other moms. We ask other mom groups what speakers they enjoyed. We recruit speakers we have heard and feel are relevant to our group. We also try to pick speakers that are able to work with our current theme.
