Chaplain

 

 

Our group has a board member designated as the chaplain.  The chaplain's duties include preparing our opening and closing prayers for our group's meetings each month. We also maintain a prayer journal which contains prayer requests from our members which we read at each meeting and pray for each intention.

Our group has a Statue of Mary, our patron saint of the group. We encourage members to take care of our statue in their home for a month between meetings.

​

This year our theme is "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."  Proverbs 31:26. We will incorporate this theme into our monthly meetings and encourage kindness throughout the year.
